LS400 caliper swap onto is300 question
Hey i have a question about swapping ls400 calipers onto an is300 hub.
I have a completely oem 2001 Lexus is300.
If i install roll center adjusters, and than install LS400 calipers, and put on aftermarket 17x8 255x40x17 wheels, will I need to get an alignment?
If so, will any alignment shop be able to align the car at this point?
Or do i need an adjustable suspension? My factory suspension is very nice and soft and quiet and I would like to continue running it if i can.
Thanks.

The RCA's will change the ride height and thus the alignment. It will also look strange. These are usually done with adjustable coilovers to help straighten the camber of the wheels back up. They work for the LS400 BBK swap but are meant for the lowering mods. So the way it works on the suspension is that the car will be lower in the front by the amount of the thickness of the RCA's you get. You can look into RCA's for the rear too so the car looks even. But I don't know if that's even an option. You will definitely need an alignment because the angle will change drastically.
