Default ** TRD Suspension Bushings **

New release from TRD Japan..............FYI

The TRD suspension bushing connects the suspension arm and links to eliminate wasteful movement of the suspension area making it more efficient. (translation)

Front upper support
Front lower arm bushing
Front lower arm bushing
Rear shock cushion
Rear shock cushion
Rear upper arm bushing No.1
Rear upper arm bushing No.2
Rear lower arm bushing No.1
Rear axle carrier bushing
Rear lower arm bushing No.2

So far I have gathered they are still made of rubber but firmer.

Also Steve are these bushings meant to work with stock underbody sways or TRD sways?

Some companies have made replacements bushings in polyurethane instead of rubber

All bushings shown are for the 2nd gen GS, I'll get pricing shortly

I'm looking to replace the rear carrier bushings in a 98 GS4. Just like the LS400 issues with carriers, same thing on this car.

I cant find a supplier for these. I've contacted steve at Armstrong, he doenst make them yet

Anyone know if the suspension kit above is available still and if so where?

Any help would be great, thank you

So you can use (some of) these to replace the OEM ones without buying a whole arm? Pricing would be nice, pretty please.

Install will be costly though.

folks

i special ordered a set of castor arm bushings and lower control arm bushings from steve last year.. they don not fit our cars.. these are made for the aristo v300 which has reenforced and large arms req a larger heavy duty bushing...

i did not try the rears for this reason for the parts are geared for the aristo v300.. i thought since 95 and up lexus/toyota made replacement bushings for the rear axle carrier, for i know its a real pia when i had my 93ls400 me and a friend took 8 hrs to remove each carrier to do the job but i was told from 95 and up they sold replacement bushings now...

the only trd part i would venture to try is the strut mounts which are harder durameter rubber for more precise steering response

Thanks for the info Ed. The good news is you saved me some $ and aggravation. The bad news is I still want to replace mine w/o paying for a whole replacement arm.
