New Supra TT rear calipers - what's needed?
If I order the calipers new from a Toyota dealer, do I need to order new mounting bolts (length different?) pads, shims, retaining clips etc? Anyone know what they come with out of the box?

i think the assumption is that its just the calipers. You'll likely need to get new rotors and pads which usually come with clips and shims. Not sure about the bolt though. I would also recommend upgrading to SS brake lines if you haven't yet. Not saying there is something wrong with the stock once but if you're gonna do all the work and drain and bleed your brakes, might as well spend the extra 30 bucs and get the lines done too.

I almost certain when you order calipers from a dealer, you just get the calipers. No hardware kits, no pads. The hardware kits (shims & clips) are sold separately. Sometimes you find dealers online selling all 4 calipers together as a package deal and they include everything else too. You usually just need to buy your own pads and rotors after one of those package deals.
I highly recommend doing SS brake lines. Order them for the turbo JZA80.
The mounting bolts are the weird thing that I guess are not consistent. I had no issues whatsoever putting TT calipers on my 97 SC300. All the bolts worked fine. But I think things may vary depending on the year of your car, and/or if its a 300 or 400 (there are brake differences thru the years and models)
The SC dust shields will hit the larger TT rotors. You can trim them, or delete them, but if you delete them take caution driving the car in cold rain and winter. Toyota dealerships can stock Supra TT brake shields and from what I remember they were a somewhat popular item for people to buy (thru Elmhurst) so that means they are still in production
