Default Clunk noise from driver side is250 on lowered f sport springs suspension

Hi everyone just looking for some help on if it could be the dust boot that has seemed to have broken and stuck up on the strut originally I was told the strut was looking a bit leaky (gas covered or oily so it was changed with the lower ball joint as it sounded like a popping also but now after 100-200 miles of that I am hearing it again and I realize they didn’t swap out the dust boot had another shop check and say they think it is that the springs close in on that boot or so and makes a clunk over bumps and such is that all it could be it’s catching in the spring ? Or could it be something else 2 shops have already checked it out now saying to go back to who put in the strut maybe they put it straight not correct (at a angle they said ) and it could be that Here I posted pictures of how it looks

Driver side that the clunk comes from before strut replaced but still looks like this dust boot wasn’t fixed or changed
