rominl,

Sorry. Just having another senior moment here.

Neo,

Good things are worth the wait.

Just a side note: I'm keeping a record on how many miles the Stoptech brake kit can go without any the brake pads (front and/or rear). So far so good and after 10 months of go-and-stop L.A. traffic, there are still plenty pads left.

OK, no prob. RAristo had said "I want to be the first one to have it on GS." which to me meant he was still hoping to be the first. I guess "want" probably should have been "wanted".

Pedantically yours,
bit.

You mean you like to change your bb kit every other day?

In which colors do you have them?

Then you've obviously got WAY too much money and need to donate some to the bitkahuna fund.

Just installed the StopTech 14" front kit yesterday- still breaking them in, but so far, I love 'em! (I also upgraded the rear OE rotors to StopTech cross-drilled OE replacements w/ Axxis pads & stainless brake lines- couldn't justify the extra dough for the 14" rear kit).

I did the cross-drilled rotors and red calipers for visual impact... Much quieter than the cross-drilled rotors on my MR2, thankfully. MagnaFlow exhaust goes on this week!

Cool Bob. Post some pics when you can. This is the same setup I want, except in black. Would have been on my car by now but life happens.

Thumbs up Brake Kit

I have the RMM big brakeTT set up and like it for what it does, especially since I have the 20" wheels. My stock brakes were always fading out under hard braking. The kit came with the slotted cross drilled rotors which look nice but just found out that after two months of use the rotors are warped. RMM is waranteeing the rotors since I bought and installed then at my local Lexus dealer and have had this slight pulsation since day one. I thought the pads were setting in, but the problem only got worse.Anyways they are replacing them with the power slotted rotors instead which I am told is a better rotor with a less chance of warpage.

Firstly, I don't think L-Sportline sells these anymore. I recently had a conversation with them about it. Secondly, they are OEMed from StopTech. I don't have their price sheet in front of me but I believe there is a markup for it being tagged L-Sportline. You can save some $ and just buy StopTech. Also, if you care, StopTech is delivering a Gen-II version of their caliper while I believe the L-Sportline is Gen-I.

Hope this answered some of your questions.

THanks Neo for your input....
