Here's my DSR 4-piston aluminium monoblock big brake setup using the UCF-30 calipers with DSR custom brackets. They are a teeny wee bit smaller than my Supra calipers and comes with 323mm rotors. Both the Supra and the DSR clear my +36 highdisk autocouture wheels.

You can get these in black, silver, red or gold. I especially love the jdm gold!

One of the things that I don't like about the smaller spacers is that they change your wheels from hub-centric wheels to lug-centric. The larger spacers like the 25mm retains the hub-centricity but bolting to the original hub while the spacers has lugs of its own and he center has that lip that the wheel can mount onto. I am not saying to use large spacers. I'm just bringing up a downside for using smaller spacers.

have stock but want to get stopteks though, didn't know that over time the factory lines get extended and you loose your braking distance.

What are the price differences between the AP racing, Brembo, and Rotora setups for the front only? Can anyone give me a general price for them, whether they are 4 pot or 6 pot. I already have the general price for the Rotora and would rather have the AP or Brembo kits. I also know that the AP and Brembo are quite a bit more $ than the Rotoras.

So i really want to get the Supra TT upgrde it for my GS400... the thing is though is that i dont want to buy rims... so i've reawd that all you need is a 7.5mm spacer but i dotn kno if that was for that persons own setup if he has aftermarket rims or whether that is for the stock 17" rims also.. because if so then i would juts go and get the 10mm spacers and order the supra TT brake kit... any input would be greatly appreciatted.. thank you

adam,

i wouldn't put spacer for the stock 17" wheels. this would put a lot stress on the front ball joints. if you're going to do the TT brake upgrade, change the wheels so it will clear the TT brakes and minimize the stress on the ball joints.

have you read some owners are having problems with their ball joints coming off, why risk this with added stress from spacers.

do it right the first time.
