2010 IS250 F Sport shocks and springs question
Front left shock absorber is leaking so I've decided to replace both front shocks as they're coming of age. I want to keep the springs (as they appear fine and I'm broke) and upgrade just the shocks with something aftermarket. Am I fine with getting non F Sport front shocks i.e TEIN EnduraPro (non F Sport OEM fitment) and fit them with the existing F sport package springs as a solution?
From my research the TEIN shocks seem to be a decent upgrade over OEM and I've found them for relatively cheap, but I'm clueless when it comes to compatibility with my current springs.
Can someone with mechanical know how explain if this Frankenstein attempt would work or must I also match the springs to a non F-Sport shock as well?
Thanks
