Transmission / Differential Fluid - Brass parts?

Does anyone know if the tranny/differential in the SC400 (1993) has brass parts? The reason I ask is because when I went to do my fluids in my Toyota Tacoma, someone recommended using GL4, but NOT GL5 fluid because, as Red Line puts it:

SAFE FOR BRASS SYNCHROS - GL-4 Gear Oil lacks the reactive sulfurs found in most GL-5 oils that cause damage. Recommended for GL-1, GL-3 & GL-4 applications

Any thoughts on this, re: the SC?

So what transmission is in the car? You list SC400 which did not come with a manual, so if it has a manual trans what is it? The diff would not have brass parts. If a manual has been swapped in and it was a W58 from a same period SC300 then yes it does have brass syncros. I regularly run a mixture of Redline MTL and MT90 in my manual SC300 W58 race car.
