Does anyone know if the tranny/differential in the SC400 (1993) has brass parts? The reason I ask is because when I went to do my fluids in my Toyota Tacoma, someone recommended using GL4, but NOT GL5 fluid because, as Red Line puts it:
- SAFE FOR BRASS SYNCHROS - GL-4 Gear Oil lacks the reactive sulfurs found in most GL-5 oils that cause damage. Recommended for GL-1, GL-3 & GL-4 applications
