Hard to say...maybe this is a question Steve (SUPRATRD) can respond to?

Cool

One of my front L-Tuned strut is leaking after 20,000 miles. Purchased from Steve Ganz (Carson Toyota) and local dealership reluctantly agreed to replaced it under warranty.

I wonder how common that is. If it is, I will go with another combination instead.

A better question might be whether or not there will even be a replacement available in, say, 4-5 years thru TRD since L-Tuned has been/is being folded back into TRD. I'd like to think so but............I don't know the answer to that question.

Adam dont let Chu's incident sway you. He lives in a different country and driving styles may be different. I would think that you should be able to get 60K out of a set easily. Ask members here that are still riding on stock shocks how they are doing and you will see what I mean. The construction is very good and so is the L-tuned.

Will they be here in 4-5 years? Anybodys guess.....but will you still have the car in 4-5 years?

Just my 2 cents.....

Wait, I am riding on stock shocks and I have 39k miles. However, they appear to be leaking so it's time for replacement.

4-5 years? We might still have the car unless we buy a JAG!

Yeah. Guam road is horrible. Mostly city driving. Roads are not smooth like those in the states. Alot poorly fix pot hole patches and rough pavement. One reason I went with L-Tuned was the comfort level. Could of gone with other setup but worried about ride qualities. Hope to keep the current GS until the next generation GS but if other struts begin to fail and no replacement part available I would probably go with another brand. At this point I am still waiting for the replacement strut that the dealer ordered from TRD.

San Francisco isn't Guam but the roads here aren't so good either. What about the kyb gr's? Are the same as the L-tuned shocks?

Chu I understand totally thats why I was telling him he will be fine Adam, what you should do is make a poll to find out how many miles most of these guys running the L-tuned have on them and how they are holding up. As a matter of fact it will help me too

Adam I think you may have to start a new thread and probably have choices like 10,000 miles, 20,000 miles etc. Most of these guys will probably tell you how long they have had them too. Just throwing out some ideas....
