Default One single clunk...

When I back down in reverse out of my driveway onto the street, then proceed in Drive slowly(~15mph) to the corner, upon my first tap of the brakes, I get a semi-metallic clunk I can hear, but not feel. This is with me going straight, off the gas, and a light tap of the brake pedal. Then the rest of the day, nothing... Until the next day- same thing, One clunk at first brake tap going forward. Is it the Anti-lock-brakes doing it's thing? Or ...? TIA!

The brake pads shift when the wheels are reversing, slightly. When you apply the brakes for the first time at your street corner the pads snap back into place and you hear the noise. It happens to my Camry too.

Whoever did your brakes last probably left out the quiet pad clips or stainless guides that go in the caliper bracket. Comes with most sets of pads, next time you do brakes or have them done ask that they get put in if they aren't in.
