Need recommendations on where to get stock rear struts for my car
Have to replace my rear struts soon and don’t know where to look to get parts as I’m new to driving a Lexus. Looking to get stock/oem part.

You only need to replace the struts. The springs should never break.
I buy only KYB struts made in Japan, OEM for many Japanese cars. they are known to last way longer than most other brands. My last set of KYB struts in a Celica lasted over 150K miles, still ride nice and stable, no leak, but I curbed the wheel so I replaced them to make sure. ROCKAUTO.COM sells KYB struts for about $200 a pair.

Avoid combined spring strut assemblies in the market since they are likely made in China and the struts would fail early.

Sorry for the error:
KYB 341267 Excel-G (Manufacturer Rebate Available!)
Rear
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...t=7584&jsn=358
The whole strut/spring assembly is easier to replace, but the struts are usually made in China, not OEM quality. KYB struts are OEM or better than OEM, will last 100K to 150K miles as I have seen in my own car..

If you want the original Lexus ride get oem. KYB is good but not AS good as oem. The oem struts are expensive but probably worth it considering they were designed specifically for this car. Discountpartsmonster.com or eBay has the best prices on oem parts usually!

You guys know Lexus don't make their own struts right?
KYB is the standard for replacing OE struts. Until someone shows me a shock dyno and lifetime cycle testing of KYB vs whatever Toyota's OEM was (wouldn't be surprised if it was KYB) that convinces me otherwise, I'm going to recommend KYB every time.

Which brand of Rear Strut Assembly should I get?
Replacing my Rear Struts on my 98 gs300, people are telling me I should replace the whole assembly at the same time and wondering which brand between FCS Automotive and Unity should I get as the Monroe brand is out of my budget at the moment. If none of these brands are worth it I will just replace the Strut by itself with the KYB brand.
