Front ball joint spacer?
Hello all,
I recently bought a 2007 is250 AWD. It’s been lowered on bc coil overs. I am attempting to bring everything back to stock. I’ve been looking at this lower ball joint since I got it. It just looks strange. It appears to have a spacer between the ball joint and the knuckle.
is anyone able to snap a photo of their front lower ball joint?
what threw me off initially is the car currently has 19” wheels and there is less than a half an inch between the bolts on the lower control arm and the wheel. Wanting to go back to 17s or 18s I was close concerned that would be an issue.
I have attached some photos not the current set up as well as a photo of the spacer it self.
assuming I am correct that the spacer needs to be removed, does anyone know the correct bolt length?

Hi and welcome to CL.
Those are not OEM, and can be removed. You should have to toe corrected on both ends when done. You can go to most any Lexus car part site and find a diagram and order the correct bolts to go back in there.
There are threads and stickies with torque specs for critical components like these.
Do not let the suspension hang down freely when torquing rubberized bushings in place. Have the car at proper ride height of the bushings will over rotate and fail early... Be safe, okay!
