Default Megan Racing quality

After I slam my car with BC coilovers I was looking to get rear camber arms, rear toe, rear traction bar and front upper control arms from Megan Racing. I won't be drifting or taking my car to the track just some spirited driving and canyon carving. How does the Megan Racing parts hold up to some harder but not extreme driving? In my research I learned to stay away from Godspeed but haven't seen many complaints about Megan Racing although through pics on the internet they look similar.

Battle version parts look like good quality but the price is higher as well. If I'm not taking my car to the track and doing hard drifting am I ok to save a few dollars and go with Megan Racing?

The old saying "you get what you pay for" certainly applies. However, for those rear arms I wouldn't worry about running them. Especially if you don't plan on tracking your car or anything of that nature. I'd consider going OEM (if still available) for the front UCA's, or maybe even something from FIGS engineering. However, if you're set on the Megan stuff I think it'll serve you fine for your needs.

Agreeing with Rudy here. You do get what you pay for. The OEM 92-00 SC rear UCAs and LCAs and front Supra MKIV 1993-1996 front UCAs and LCAs (or the SC versions) are best if still available. They should still be. Figs Engineering aftermarket suspension parts would be my first aftermarket choice.

So let me chime in. I’m not a fan of Megan racing but they work for their price point. I went with battle version traction and toe bars and Ikeya formula upper and lower control arms. Ikey makes the best of the best, but they are also very very expensive. Stock works great unless you need more camber the. What you can get out of the stock camber bolts.

I got the Megan racing rear suspension components. I was in a jam and had to go with what available late 2021. I was looking for adjustable camber stuff that was in stock. This was for my son’s 99’sc300…

Went with 92-00 Lexus SC300/SC400Megan Racing Rear Camber Arms × 1
92-00 Lexus SC300/SC400Megan Racing Rear Toe Arms × 1
92-00 Lexus SC300/SC400Megan Racing Rear Traction Arms × 1

lets you go probably negative 5 degrees camber if wanted.

For the front arms I went with phase2 motor stuff, also extreme camber version available for lower arm. Been happy with all over past 10 months.
