You shouldn't have any gap. I've got 19"s right now and I have less than an inch at stock height.

I think the gap will be huge with 20s and no drop, I think the 19s are more suited to the sporty style of the sc with no drop. here is a SC with 20s and no drop for reference. Look at the distance the front bumper and sides are from the ground.

I have 20" rims front and rear with the tokicos and eibachs and the gap is perfect, about 1/2"
it looks great and rides pretty good. I just ordered the Daizen Camber kits front and rear, lower control arm bushings front and rear and sway bar bushings front and rear (all daizen). Ordered iRotors front and rear with pads and S.S. brake lines. Once I get all these things installed, I will post back.

do a search for a guy named Manaray, he explains all the secrets to fitting 20s on a SC. If you run a 20x9 up front you HAVE to have the correct offset if you want to lower it. From what I understand SCs have a very shallow wheel well and if you do not order the correct offset/backspacing you will have issues.

Just find those threads from Manaray and everything is explained in more detail

Seriously though, IMO very few SC's look good with 20's.

Without a drop, I agree. The most important thing is modifying the suspension to get the car back down to a decent height!

If you don't lower it with 20s, it looks like an off-roader, IMO.

The Axis Se7en Mod is a particularly POOR QUALITY wheel. You'll see once you see a set in person. Do yourself a favor and buy something better. (that photo is of the 3-piece Se7en BTW which is like 4x the cost of the "mod" version...that's because it's real 3-piece wheel NOT made by Axis...I believe Work makes it for them...that is a quality wheel but I wouldn't buy it because it says "AXIS" on it which is a huge ricer brand. Buy the real version of that wheel...the Intensive Hunk ...now sold under the AutoCouture label)

Secondly, do yourself another favor and get coilovers from the get go. You can ask anyone who has done the "newbie" thing and bought springs or spring/shocks and then later moved to coilovers if you don't believe me.

Yeah, it may take a little bit longer to save up the money and whatnot, but you'll thank me in the end.

thanx for the advise. i put the springs and shocks 8 months ago...i don't like them..the ride is too hard. im looking to get the tein coilovers. if you have a web site that i can find the wheels your telling me about i would probably go with it. but i just like the way the axis wheel looks...i don't know too much about the brand name.
