Default 92 SC400 Transmission Mount

Hey All,

I have read/searched several forums and still a little confused on the whole engine/tranny mount. I need to replace my tranny mount due to old age/sagging causing driving vibration and noises.

I went by the Lexus parts dept to ask them about the tranny mount. They brought up a picture of the engine/transmission and showed me three mounts. Two were the front engine mounts, and the third was around the tranny area. The mount in the rear was labeled "Engine Mount Insulator Rear". Is this the actual tranny mount, just labeled rear engine mount? Or am I looking at the wrong part. The rear mount part# is 12371-50030.

I am assuming this is the tranny mount everyone is talking about. But reading through previous posts, some have mentioned there are 2 tranny mounts, some mentioned there is a rear engine mount and a seperate tranny mount. Any clarification would be helpful.

I'll try to get a print out of the parts screen page and post it on here. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
LexusBiz

There are two engine mounts (front engine mounts) and one tranny mount (labelled as a rear engine mount).

Please read my post on this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=114768

Let me know if you have any further questions. Good luck.
