Default Super suspension

Does anyone think that spending 5+ on you're suspension seem kinda over board? Cause I just did that and I feel like it might be overkill.

what do you mean 5+? over 5000 bucks? if so, let me see --

1200 coilover, 3000+ on 19s, 3000 on brakes, 300 on bars and braces, and i am still targeting another 1000 for more braces for the back. so no, i think it's normal

Heck, if you include wheels and brakes it's easy to spend twice that much. Actually, you can spend $10K on the wheels and brakes alone.

Price wise you are in the ball park. If you research what's a good price for each item and your total is within spitting distance then go for it. Some of your selections could be considered an upgrade over what I have so you should be happy with the parts. Does this include tires? If not, add another $800-$1200.

The Cusco-2 coilovers are very stiff to what I know. Most Cusco people I know are Honda Civic drivers.
By the way, what are you paying for the Cusco?

yeah, cusco is on the stiffer side..BUT, whatever rocks your boat ..good stuff though

pricewise, it is about right..

here is a reference(for my taste):

1. HKS/TEIN/or Bilsteins, $900-1500/set
2. wheels, jdm 18s, ~$2000 and up
3. tyres, 18s, ~$700-900
4. toms or TRD bars/braces

yeah i agree, if you include brakes and wheels, man 5k is nothing. but if you take those two away and able to get up to 5k mark, that's really a lot of money. cusco is famous for super expensive stuff, so that's why. their coilover alone is almost 3k already

Well I am about to blow my load and spend $4000 on some rims.....and that doesn't include tires yet. Trust me $5000 is right on the "average" side.
