Can't wait to get better updated pics from Alex when it's installed on his car for real.

Wait, so these DSR monoblocks are lighter than your stoptech??? Well I suppose that's not surprising, since yours is 6-pot and the DSR is only 4 pot.

jtanoyo - I know you're excited about the brakes being from Japan and all but I've never heard of DSM - who are they? Also, to be honest gold calipers are not my thing.

From the distributor side, I was told that DSR is a new company that specializes in custom parts for Toyota. For example, they make the special brackets to fit the LS430 calipers onto our GS. If I remember correctly, I think the only other 2 companies that make this particular brackets are TRD and Netz Sports. Both of which are very hard to source in my area. Well, maybe not hard to get TRD, but they are way overpriced. And this DSR kit undercuts the TRD kit (which in my understanding is an almost exact same kit) by over $600! I don't care for big names and right now it's still a toss-up between gold and black for the caliper colors. And after seeing yours, BitKahuna, I am reaaaaaally liking black big brakes!

jtanoyo1 Thanks for the info. Whatever caliper color you get you can always paint it to what you want. One reason I went with black is because performance pads are gonna spread black dust so my calipers won't look dirty. I didn't go with red or anything because it's too flashy for my tastes with a silver body.
