Default Brake Kit for GS 350 AWD

Hello All,

new to the forum and new to Lexus vehicles after decades of driving German Sedans. I purchsaed a '14 GS 350 AWD about a month ago with 125k miles. Car drives well
and i'm very happy with it. She does need rear brakes replaced. My question is, is it safe to use aftermarket kits from Callahan, autozone etc or should I stick
with OEM. If so which OEM vendor is best ?

Appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks in advance.

I owned a 2016 IS 200T F Sport from 2021 to September 2024. I replaced all four brakes and rotors with Akebono pads and rotors. They were competitively priced with
other premium pads and rotors. Had them installed at a Goodyear dealership that I trust. I loved the stopping power and durability. I bought a 2018 GS 350 F Sport AWD a week ago.
Traded in the IS. I had 5k equity after dealer paid off loan. When I need brakes on the GS, I'll replace with Akebono. Welcome to the club!
