Default Suspension Question

I'm seriously considering putting 20" rims on my GS 430. Also I'd like to drop the car. Should I use springs or coilovers? What's the difference? So far I'm considering Tanabe DF-210s. Also, if I drop the car do I need to change my shocks? What other considerations do I need to take into account? Thanks for your input.

UPDATE:

After reading through the suspension section of CL forums, it seems coilovers are the way to go, specifically TEIN. Are the coilovers worth the extra $700 over springs? How big of a difference is there between the TEIN Super Street (SS) and TEIN CS coilovers. How long until the CS are available? Any thoughts?
