Technical Service Bulletin, describes problems customers are reporting and recommeded course of action to resolve problem. I dont think the aftermarket wheel should make a difference since lexus does offer 18" wheels

Seems that rattling noise from the dash or doors is the most common problem on the GS.
I hope Lexus are listening to this. This is a Lexus for God's sake, it should be the epitom of refinement.

Ha, that's funny
Although my GS was mechanically perfect, it suffered from numerous rattles. The dealer could never completely correct the problem. That being said, my GS was an earlier build (early '05), so later builds are probably better.

jjpxlala - Is the vibration something you feel or hear, or both? Also, is it in the dash, the seat, somewhere else, or both? And where do you live and what's your weather (i.e., is the vibration of the car tied to the temperature)?
In my GS350 AWD I've noticed that when the weather is colder (say below 38 or so) and the car is cold and at a stop with the transmission in gear, I get a noticeable vibration that's felt not heard in my drivers seat (don't know if its felt in the passenger seat cause I'm the one who mostly drives the car). It doesn't rattle my dash (i.e., make a rattle noise) or any other parts of the car, but I feel it while sitting in my seat. It's like I'm sitting on one of those massage chairs. Maybe this is a new feature I wasn't aware of. Once the car warms up (after 15 or so minutes) it seems to subside and go away.
Anybody else experiencing this, or other thoughts? It's not super bad, but it's kind of a weird feeling sitting there with this vibration you can feel in your bones.

I experienced rattles on the upper left of my sunroof. Nothing bugs me more than a constant rattle. After taking for new mirrors and rattles. So far so good, but it's summertime. Winter I'm sure will tell the truth.

None but I old got it 10 days ago and it only has 130 miles on it. The RX400H I turned in with 17,000 miles on it was perfect except for the DRL and the NAV that won't work when the car is moving but that didn't stop me from getting the GS450H.

I have no problems with my GS except a couple paint chips in weird places, like the driver door (small chip), rear bumper (small), right driver door (small), I just think the Lexus paint is to soft!!!!
othewise California weather is great for a GS!!!!
The chips might not be Lexus's fault but I hate chips!!!
