Probably 99% of those who get springs for lowering are for looks (or at least people that I know/knew), but there is also another purpose for lowering. Better Cornering. The original purpose of lowering a car with springs i believe, are generally for taking corners, but have crossed over to people getting it for just looks. So now import shops now aim for that purpose as well. So I guess you can just get springs for any reason you want now......

Indeed. Most of the time, the main purpose of springs is for aesthetics, BUT it doesn't mean that it's the only thing they do. It does help cornering. Lower center of gravity and higher spring rate helps minimalize body roll (which I think this car suffers a bit from).

Well said and I completely agree. Too bad the GS350 didn't come with AAAS std.

I need to find a good shop in SoCal, the shop I went to today wanted $400 for a eibach prokit and $450 for install.
