Tein H Tech Springs Installed
#16
When I picked up my GS about 3 months ago, I had asked my salesman at World One Performance if Tein had coilovers for my AWD...not yet...it is my understanding that Tein like Tanabe are doing R&D for the AWD set ups. I was pretty suprised that no vendor has a coilover set for our AWD's.
..and btw DD...like your ride!!! The drop looks nice. I sure hope Lexus deals with the insane wheel gap!!!

I thought Tein H-Tech is more concervative softer spring compare to Tanabe NF210 but NF has better ride? How is that possible???

Just wanted to give an update on the Tein H Techs.
I have not had any issues with pulling or noticed any issues with ride quality in the past month. During my daily commute and around town, no problems with rubbing or scraping anything. The only place I have to be careful is backing out the driveway....if I reverse too quickly, the little plastic guard that comes down in front of the right wheel scrapes a touch...
Finally got around to getting an alignment done yesterday.
The toe was a bit out for the front right/left and rear left, but were all adjusted back to specs.
The front left and right camber is slightly out of specs (neg camber), and Lexus reports they cannot adjust it.
The front driver side is -1.2 and front passenger is -1.3, range is -1.1 to 0.4 degrees.
So I can anticipate some mild uneven tire wear (inner edge). So much for "guaranteed specs" of the Tein H Techs.
Being that these offer the most conservative drop of all springs, I will assume all others springs (including the NF210s) will probably have some camber issues and uneven tire wear down the line.
Hope this helps some people in deciding to lower their cars or not.
