06 forward GS suspension FACTS
HEY...just so u guys know. With my recent adventure of lowering my 07 GS 350 AWD, i acquired ALOT of info from the toyota tech site that i payed 10 buck to access...SOO, heres the facts. U can adjust camber on the AWD cars, that includes is250 awd and gs350 awd. The thing is ONLY the front can be adjusted, not the rear. Not sure how many degrees u can adjust, but it is adjustable. The RWD cars cannot be adjusted at all. Another fact, the rear end of the GS is exactly the same as the new IS or vise versa. This means AWD and RWD GS's and IS's have the exact rear. The good thing is we can use the rear aftermarket sway bars for the IS because they dont have them for the GS. The front end of the cars is a totally diff thing though...I u guys have questions just ask

^ I'm not surprised. The GS/IS share platforms, engines, transmissions, brakes, etc. The 2IS is supposed to be a shortened version of the 3GS, so I can see common suspension pieces . . .

Isn't the 3GS wider than the 2IS? Same diff, different axles or same rear end all together?

HEY...sorry for the late reply. Supprized, ur not more off, bc ur springs drop the car more than mine. But anyway, ur rear right camber is a problem, not sure if the garage guy hooked up the sensor wrong to ur wheel or that the messed up on ur rear right when installing the springs. If i was u i would get another aligment somewhere else, and also tell them to fix ur front camber to around -0.4 degrees on each side since its adjustable, thats the stock setting OR go back to that shop (armed with this info), dont mention the rear right until after, and tell them that they didnt adjust the front camber and that u want it done with another FREE wheel aligmnet......
