What about wheel sizes, and having the tires stretched? How much does that impact the rolling diameter and the vibration problems for AWD vehicles?

19x8.0 +35 --- 225/40/19
19x9.5 +45 --- 255/35/19
-- too stretched may impact diameter

19x8.5 or 8.0 +35 --- 235/35/19
19x9.5 +45 --- 275/30/19
-- front tire stretched on 8.5 and not enough on 8.0

19x8.5 +35 --- 245/35/19
19x10. +?? --- 285/30/19
-- nardeezy has this setup and has vibration issues (with 20's)

19x8.5 --- 245/45/10
19x9.5 --- 275/40/19
-- 7% diff on speedo, and will raise the car like a 4x4...

Any help on the math would be greatly appreciated. Just want to see what wheel size to use, in combination with the tire size to keep the overall diameter in spec to stagger AWD.

This way you can get an idea of what the outer rolling diameters of the tires are. Some websites like TireRack if you go into tire detail and select SPECS and SIZES they show outer diameter numbers.

for staggered widths, you want to keep the outer diameter numbers as close as possible with maybe 1/5 to 1/8th of an inch difference at most.

If you use that method, you should be able to stagger you wheels and not have any issue.

Once I install the new tires and wheels I will see how low i want to take the car. Maybe Tanabe NF or maybe DF's

Wow, that has nothing to do with my question.

I actually ordered the Eibach Pro Springs. I refuse to support any company that refused to try to make coilovers for the GS350AWD.

I am going to be rolling TOM's Racing VP-S wheels

19x8.5 with Falken Fk452 245/45R19
19x9.5 with Falken Fk452 275/40R19

I wanted the beefier tired (BMW 745Li 19" setup) as I think the car is BIG enough to pull it off. plus I dont want to be bending wheels due to thin tires.

Aren't you concerned that you will raise the car too much and give it a dune buggy look? 19's with 45 profile? I guess I will have to see it before passing judgement. Please post pics when you get your wheels.

I really want to stagger the AWD, but no one has done it without vibration issues. Plus, based on the rolling diameter issue, I have no idea what wheel or tire size will actually make it work (and keep it close to spec).

What are the complete spec's of all 4 wheels and tires. Also, did he get a custom alignment or a factory spec'd alignment?
