Anyone Know Why One Side Of The Car Is Lower With Aftermarket Springs.

I use to know a guy at work, he was like 300 pounds and he drives a Subrau sub compact. Everytime he gets into the car, the whole driver side goes down like 4 inches and he would drive home like that

I dont know about dropping 4 inches, but I am 6'5" 300 lbs. so yes the cars suspension will compress more than with a 150 lb driver. It sucks being so big and tall. Hard to find clothes, cars, or fly anywhere. but again my hypothesis is that with chronic compression on the drivers side it create more " settling" on that side. I bet if I was riding with 2 or 4 people regularly ( more often than not) I think the right side would compress and settle as well. It makes sense to me. so thats what Im going to think

Well your hypothesis is wrong because they lean with OEM spring springs from day one and the same is true of aftermarket. I know know why but it seems the driver side is heavier to make it sag a little, but it is not the result of the springs sagging over time they are just under more weight on the driver side, go measure a new one in the showroom to confirm this if you don't believe me.
