Default Tanabe SUSTEC PRO FIVE Owners

All my previous cars had lowering springs so this time I figure I'll give coilovers a try. I'm getting tanabe pro five installed and I pretty much want to know the best settings to tune the suspension for the same factory ride. Yes, I know I can adjust the dampering to my own preference but I do not want to deal with adjusting because I heard the rears are difficult to access. It would be nice to know what others with the same set-up have their dampening set at to achieve close to factory smoothness. Feel free to show a picture of your ride height too.

My goal is to have it installed with the dampening preset so I do not have to mess with it again, well unless I change the ride height. I would like my ride height to be about 1.8 front and 1.4 rear if that helps. Also would I have the problem would the light on the dash (I think AFS?) after the install or does it only occur with springs. I saw a previous tread where there was a fix for that issue.

Purchasing the TEAS would make this a lot easier but not willing the dish the extra cash on that right now.

I dont think many members have done the pro 5 yet. There was a member from Texas I think who loved the set up and it was the first time he ever lowered a car. Im not sure of the name, but if you do a forum search it will come up. also the IS forums will have plently of members who have the set up
