Wanted to say whats up to everyone first.. site seems to be packed with info

i have a 08 gs460 silver with the ML package..

i been using the search function but gs460 doesnt seem to bring up much and when it comes to performance parts i haven't found much neither

im looking for a good set of coil overs, i plan on running 22" wheels so figured coil overs would be the way to go..

i seen the tein and the JIC VIP sets but would i need to purchase the gs430 set or are the gs460 sets out just no on websites and stuff yet?

also i think i read that some mods need to be done to the front possibly inner fender to run 22's without rubbing? looking to run 22 x 8.5 in the front with 22 x 10 in the rears

welcome to clublexus. a lot of people here have the tein cst coilovers, including me. some people have tanabe, and a few has jic. i would think they fit on the gs460 as well, but not 100% 22s? well to each their own. to run 22s on the gs, you need quite some work

romi, thanks for the response.. im coming from the big wheel scene it's still a toss up tho im looking to doing the suspension first then i'll try on some 20's 21's n 22's and see what i end up with.

yeah the tein come up alot on these boards, besides the cst package is there anything else you tein users have purchased to make the ride as best as possible?

will installing a set of coil overs void the warranty? im guessing if i dont want it to be voided i will need the dealer to install them if they even do it correct?

just like other parts, if you put aftermarket stuff and something goes wrong, they have to prove your aftermarket part causes the problem and they can void warranty. otherwise they have to honor it

the law against dealer voiding warranty is called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

tell the dealer to refer to it if they give you any trouble
