Ryan let me know if you have heard from them. I am making some good progress on my end and have lined up a vendor from CL to fabricate these parts. Vendor is PPE Engineering

Hi Mike,
We should be able to make those spacers as long as they are similar in design to the S2000 spacers. The only thing we would need, besides the axles is to know the thickness of the spacers. This obviously would depend on how much the car has been lowered.

You can send me the axles and I can design the spacers pretty quickly. Then we can work on the necessary thickness of the spacers.

Best Regards,
Paul

sorry for the late reply guys. no one can find aftermarket axles. it seems that they have to be gotten from the dealership, and my stealership just quoted me $1132 each axle without installation. quoting 940 just to change both cv boots. needless to say, i think that we may want to explore another option to aquire the axles for testing. i am certainly not paying over 2k just for parts. guess we will have to look elsewhere for test parts; maybe a junkyard? i'm willing to contribute to the cost if it helps get this done for everyone. i would imagine you could pick them up fairly cheap, though finding them may be difficult.
edit - i will continue to call specialty shops to see if they can find a more cost effective solution to purchase axles.

Just lowered my 08 GS350 AWD with some F-sport springs. I can't explain how much an inch makes a difference.

I consider myself experienced in the DIY area with cars. Coming from Hondas, i was expecting this to be slightly different but still easy. Forgot how Toyota/Lexus adds all that extra BS in the way to make my job harder, ie. fender liner in the rear, trunk carpet, etc. All in all, it only took me 4 hours. Not too bad for my first lowering of this model (at least I thought that was semi-quick).

Didnt experience any problems so far (knock on wood). No lights on dash, no noises, nothing. Only notice the ride got slightly bumper, but it could be in my head. Then again, that is expected when you lower a car.

Rims are going to be here any day... can't wait. Will post pictures when I can.

you should get an alignment after you drive it for a few hundred miles/km. 1" drop on AWD will not cause abnormal tire wear.
