awesome. i've been holding out on re-booting my CV joints so i could do this at the same time, if it solves the issue. cant wait to see how things turn out! keeping my fingers crossed. lol. gonna miss Smitty's BBQ, btw. have a bachelors party. we'll have to catch up at the OC meet if you are going.

ha funny because im missing smittys bbq also but for a tux fitting for a wedding. i'll be down ocmd in june for the car show staying around 26th or 27th street but im heading down in my friends sti

It's a spacer between the axle and wheel bearing. They noticed as soon as the car was on the lift that the angle was off because it was lowered. They pulled the axle back and said there's enough room for a spacer there.

Their a tuning and suspension shop so they know what their doing. The guy said he was almost positive that would solve the problem. Gonna talk to my guy at work and see if he can plasma cut out the new parts for me.

What is the thickness of these? I was working on my GS this last weekend and checked out the axle and hubs. Trying to get an idea of how thick these would need to be to work.

Also, how long till you can get them installed?

im getting them cut at 5/16" thats just a bit smaller than 9mm which is the max the shop recommended. hopefully i can do it this weekend.

Sweet! I wonder if Mike at FIGS would be willing to make a few sets. I bet he wouldn't have a problem selling a few (depending on the price).

^^ Nice, BTW, how low are you? I think before you said you are about 26 inches from fender to ground, correct? Is that front and rear?

right now im 26" front and rear and thats for winter. In the next month or so i will be lowering it more to maybe 24.5" front and rear

That's pretty low for an AWD. I really like the look of these cars dumped like that. Don't you have camber wear issues in the rear?

of course but thats the price you pay if you want to be low. just flip the tires every 7k or so
