Sounds good. If you can, take a pic or two once installed so we can get a better idea of how it looks installed.

the front axles need some play to work properly...if u make it so that theres no "play" during suspension travel, ur gona have some serious expensive damage when u hit ur first large bump/dip....

im not removing any play in the axles, all im doing is lining everything back up so its not stretched out on an awkward angle when is lowered.

This starts to happen by around 20k miles or so (this is very rough estimate based on folks who have complained about the vibration after lowering). The pic below shows what the wear spot looks like:

When you lower the car, it moves the spider to a new spot where it normally rides. Based on the geometry, the new spot is very close to the old spot. The vibration is caused by the spider sliding over the edge of the new spot into the old spot. It trammels back and forth there..

...and I assume a "new" CV bucket is not an option? Pricey?

im thinking of doing it, but dont you think that this is going to add more stress to the bearing causing it to fail prematurely?
correct me if iam mistaking, the spacer fits between the bearing and axle?

Actually that is an option. Essentially all that needs to be done is extend the length of the axle (at least, that is what the hypothesis is) 187 is doing this by adding a "spacer" in between the axle and the wheel knuckle. If proven, there could potentially be several ways to accomplish this. Custom CV buckets, spacers, custom axles, etc. It all depends on how much you are willing to spend, time, and resources..These spacers would be easy to install and easily mass produced.

Alright new spacers on and took it for a quick drive with the guy. Vibrations have decreased a lot from what I could notice in that 5 mins. Having the car aligned now to get everything squared away. Hopefully no more lights on the ride home. I should have better input after I take the 45 min drive home.

The problem the first time was it was not centered. We had them in the right location just not centered. We had to temp. hold it in place while the axle went back in. Now with everything tight it shouldn't move. I could possibly come up with a more elaborate design for the spacers so you don't have to temp hold them in place but I'm sure the cost would probably triple.

We tested the wheel once it was installed and spun it and it wasn't hitting or rubbing on anything, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the ride home.

Ha I meant more elaborate so you don't have to temp hold it in place. We just used tape to hold it centered and slide it back in. Pretty easy and it only takes about 10 mins per side to install. Just need a 30mm socket for the axle nut.
