BC Coilovers / 3rd Gen GS
Hey guys this is a coil that I have been hearing a lot of good things about. As my search for the Tein CST has hit a dead end (due to being out of stock everywhere till mid April) I have started to research the BC's. These are very big with the Evo, Subaru and Z guys.
-customized spring rates to what you want
-they are dual-height adjustable
-you do not lose shock travel which is a plus
-if you need more info CircuitMS a vendor on here has been helping me
Things that set them apart from others.
Has anyone put them on there 3rd gen GS? Or know somebody that has?
Im not promoting these what so ever just want some good feed back.

Im interested to know as well. I know most 3GS owners have opted for the Tein CS to retain the factory ride, while dropping the car. I dont know alot about coilovers but it seems these may have a few more features than the Tein CS, can anyone chime in on the matter. I assume if we order a set with the same spring rates as the Tein's it would be very comprable, considering the BC's have more dampening adjustments...I dont mind waiting for the Tein's but if there's no real difference and in fact a few additional options then whats the point considering these are cheaper???
Anyone???

I got quoted at $1099.
Im just the type of person that likes to know a product has been tested and true on the actual car that I have. These seem like a better deal than the Tein CS's but I know the Teins will be great on our car and dont know if the BC's will be.
Anyone?

Hey guys,
Just as Chancellor said these are really popular in the Subaru, EVO, 350Z and Mopar community.
I have personally used them on 3 of my vehicles and I really like them. We also currently run one of their ER setups on our shop STi.
Basically, they can't be beat for their pice. They have the quality and adjustabiltiy of setups twice their cost. BC just doesn't beleive in crazy markups. The coilovers ride really well on the street on soft to mid damping settings, and you can really crank 'em down for track and auto-x duty. The wide range of settings (30 levels) gives you a lot of options. Couple that with them being dual-height adjustable (so you don't lose shock travel when you lower the car) and the option of customizing your setup with spring rates and pillowball or rubber upper mounts and you really can't beat them.
Compared to Teins, the damping is going to be more forgiving, and I don't think the CS's are dual-height adjustable. I used to run a Tein setup on my STi, and I personally didn't care for it.
Hopefully this info helps. We also have a lot of specs and the BC history in our thread here:
