Default F-Sport Sway Bars for AWD

I posted in the sticky but no answers.
Both the RWD and AWD sways are listed at $495 but AWD says rear sways and the RWD says simply sway bars.
Does the AWD only come with the rear? Is it worth it just to have the rear?

holy spit!!!!

dealer just emailed me back with the estimate on installation of my sway bars for my AWD...

$695 for the front
$343 for the rear

WTF????!?!?!?!? And not to mention they want to keep the car a minimum of 2 days. What do you all recommend? I've already got the sway bars, but for 1100, that's a little ridiculous, don't you think?

geez I thought my dealer was a rip off. They only wanted $300 to install both.

alright, so today is the day. took the car in for the 5K mile service and they will also be installing my F-sport sway bars.

service manager emailed me back in early august and quoted me about $450 to install the sway bars...which is much better than the $1100 his staff member quoted me. could have gone to Louisville to have this done for $250, but my time is worth the $200 difference not to have to drive 3 hours roundtrip to drop off and pick up.

I'll let you all know if I hear any noise and how the install went.

Got the sways installed yesterday. Everything went fine and install was done around 2:30 or 3.

To be honest...I can't really tell a difference. I've only driven the car about 15 miles since they were installed, but I don't notice this huge improvement everyone is raving about. Also, I don't hear any knocking sounds....so hopefully they've been installed correctly and the knocking sounds will never be heard. For those of you who do notice improvement....what is improved and on what type of driving will I notice this the most? I still need to try out my car on this stretch of road in my neighborhood that is almost like a slalom. Before the bars I would take it at 50-55 and the car definitely couldn't hold the turns very well. If the bars didn't improve this, then I really don't know why I installed them.

So as of right now, I think I wasted $800. (350 parts, 450 install)

It might feel better when you drop your car. I have the AWD sways sitting here and not installed yet. I'm not planning to drop my car anytime soon so I would hope there is a difference or I would have wasted my money too. I think the difference would be only seen for me when I exit off the highway. It just feels like a SUV when I exit. Let us know after you drive around a little more.
