Default Question regarding Adaptive Variable Suspension and lowering on springs

After a long debate and countless sleepless nights, i am giving in to modding my GS450h. But only lowering and some 20's ... at least for now.

My question is: Would lowering my GS450h with only springs have any negative affect on the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS)? Or would the AVS not work as well?

What kind of springs would you recommended?

Thanks for the inputs in advance!!!

short answer: no shouldn't have effect. avs is on the shocks, springs are just that, springs. avs is nothing more than dampening adjustment

thanks for the feedback!

Any brand that you guys would recommend? Tanabe, Eibach or H&R and does it have to be specifically for GS450h or do we share the same springs for GS350/430/460.

Thanks again in advance!

tanabe seems to be the most popular brand here. and afaik, there are no spring applications for the GS450h specifically. my tanabe springs are for the GS430, no problems whatsoever. as long as you get the V8 version of the spring, you should be OK.

Thanks!! I like your set up, i think i'll go with Tanabe NF210 rather than DF210, and i just need some 20" Work T1S and i'll be done..... for now... hehe

that will look great! for offset and tire size, see my sig. if you haven't seen my pics, do a search to see how 20" Work wheels look on tanabe nf210. and if you go with the same specs i have, guaranteed no rubbing (front and rear wheels are in spec).
