Opinions Needed - Tanabe NF210 vs Eibach Pro Kit
seems like many peeps in this community are on tanabe springs. curious to know why many choose nf210's over eibach pro kit? trying to get all my research in before choosing between nf210/eibach/ or df210...
seems those that choose nf210's do so b/c the df's provide too much drop. however, the nf210's drop the gs 1.0" front/0.8" back while the eibach pro kit drops the gs 1.3" front/1.1" back. sort of a good in-between option when comparing the nf's and the df's... but just curious why majority chose not to install the eibachs?
thanks for helping a guy out.

Has anybody tried Swift springs? I heard good things about them. Their drop is similar to the nf210's.

1) it maintains stock ride
2) just enough drop to give it a lowered look (not slammed)
it all really depends on what you want, and what trade offs you are willing to accept. for me, the nf210 fit my requirements.

I have heard both positive and negative abut both brands. I had Tanabes on my Infiniti and they sagged. The eibachs I have never tried but I had friends with 350Z's who could stand them because they sagged and were made in the USA. Get coilovers IMHO. You will pay more but you will be happier

I'm looking to get 20's and drop my GS too. Did you ever make a decision? Curious so I can get an idea. I've read a crap load of threads and it seems like the NFs are what most run here.

i had eibach sportlines on my prelude long time ago. rear sagged front stayed high. i hated it. i knew lots of other people with the same problem.
that was a while back tho.

Lowering Springs for GS450h
I am looking for a set of lowering springs for my 2010 GS450h. I just want to lower the car by 1" or less and maintain its stock ride or just slightly stiffer. It seems from previous posts Tanabe HF210 might be a good option. I was wondering if anyone on this board has tried them on GS45h and care to share experience. I am particularly interested in knowing their side effects and reliability, etc. Also, would them void the factory warranty?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone. I am also planning to lower my car as well. My options consists of NF210's, Eibachs, Tein's and H&R's. The shop recommended I go with the H&R's but it seems like the popular consensus here is for the NF210's. I'm planning to run 19x8.5 rims. I don't mind if there is still a minor gap as long as the ride is as close to stock as possible. Please share any input. Thank you.

I have the NF installed with 20" x 8.5" and have minor rubbing due to tire size so you should have no problem. I did notice that the springs do settle more over time but the height IMO is just right and the ride is close to stock. If you can afford it then go with coilovers. That might be my next mod. Here is my thread with pics of before and after.
