Spring ? with Sport mode equipped GS430
Are regular lowering springs compatable with the GS430 shocks with sport mode??? Is it worth just getting springs or replacing the whole system with coil overs???
Thanks

springs will be fine, the avs will still work (it's only the shock dampening that's being adjusted)
if you want performance, imho, i would always only go with coilovers. personally i only do coilovers myself, especially when you do springs, gaps won't be the same left and right (typical lexus)

I had Tanabe DF springs on the same car. I was really impressed with the ride and stance it offered for springs. I didnt want to loose that feature either but I ended up with coils after all. I wanted a more firm ride for my personal taste.
It really boils down to what your looking for and your budget.

yea with springs you'll still be able to use sport mode as henry said, it only adjust the shock. imo springs are pretty limited for what they do. if your looking for just a small drop and thats it, then its the way to do. if your looking for more then just get coils. ive seen many people install springs and they are happy for a few months then regret that they didnt go to coils because they want to go lower.

I am thinking for now I just want a slight drop... Dont really want to lower the car too much where I would have to start considering camber angles and correction kits... I guess maybe a 1" or 1.5" drop is what im looking for..This will be my daily driver as I will be building another E36 M3 as a dedicated track car...
