Default Will F-Sport Springs Work with '06 GS300?

Dealer has told me that the F-sport springs only work on '07+ GS. All the aftermarket springs have the same kit for '06-'10 models, so not sure why the F-sport springs would work for the '07 but not '06.

I'm interested in the F-sports because I want a small drop (~1 in) and ride as close as possible to stock. F-sport spring rates are closer to stock than Tanabe NF210, and planning to stay on OE shocks. Don't want any rubbing - even with 4 passengers. FYI- I'm on 19's with 255/35/19s.

Thanks Mike. I'm assuming that since the dealer told me they're not compatible with the '06 that they wouldn't do the install. How much should I expect to pay a shop to do the job? First quote I got was $550, which sounds ludicrous.

Also, am I on base with choosing the F-sports based on what I'm going for? Seems like many of the folks here are on either NF210s or coilovers. I'm going for (1) small drop (~1 in), (2) ride comfort - close to stock, and (3) no rubbing.

Yes these springs should give you what your looking for. No rubbing issues with OEM. With your aftermarket rims you should have no issues either, looks like 5 Axis rims in the pic?

As for install. The dealer can install but probably wont since Lexus says its for specific model years only. They wont warranty if something where to happen. Had there not been a change with the 3gen GS it would be for all years...

I would pay a shop $150 to $200 to install the springs and no more then that. If you can find a tech to do it as a side job for cash then much less then that. Not sure what members your local to but another option is to post in your regional section and see if anyone can help you. I had a 2gen IS350 and the install process is identical. I helped a few with their GS and IS at my house. Its not too bad of a DIY so long you have the tools.

Make sure you have your TOE adjusted after you lower the car. I would allow it a few weeks also before you take it to get aligned.

I also think there are a few members selling BN in box F-Sport springs! Check the classifieds if you havent already.
