Default GS430 on DF Springs, Thanks Passnu2 and Gytis123

A big thanks goes to Mike and Gytis123. They worked very hard in the rain and cold to get my GS dropped on DF Springs this past weekend.

I will say the look is off the hook

The ride quality in no way matches stock lol. I just happen to like that more firm sportier ride, but looking back I would probably go with a more conservative drop to preserve the quality of the ride.

As far as handling, I can definetly tell a difference, there is an absence of body roll and I am a off/on ramp champion!

how close were you able to get alignment relative to factory specs?

The DF's really make the car look great.. They lower the cat more than the other ones from Tanabe.. Just get some spacers and your set..

Based on what Mike told me, the springs allow the camber to stay just at spec. I plan on getting an alignment for the Toe and to verify the camber is good in a few weeks once everything settles.

I'm trying to find a nice set of staggered 20's and if I don't find what I'm looking for I'll probably opt for some 20mm spacers to fill the wheel wells better.

cows, that's good to hear about the camber, I was worried about camber issues. How much stiffer do you think the ride is now with the DF's?

Its stiff enough to where you are going to notice a difference and make you miss the plush ride of stock. I'm running on a/s Dunlop 245/40/18 tires so I would imagine when I go to a bigger wheel and lower profile it'll be worse.

Once I get an alignment I'll post up the specs.

If you bought the Lexus for the plush ride, you're going to get that sport car ride with these springs. I bought the GS because it was super cool and was rewarded with a plush ride, I just got too used to it I suppose hah.

It's almost like driving the stock ride on Sport Mode.

Thanks man, thats good to know. I was debating to use the NF's or DF's, but like you, I got spoiled by the plush smooth ride of stock hahah

looks great! I initially had DF210s and was very satisfied with the drop but had to swap out to coilovers as it was way too bouncy for my taste.
