Something must be up, my Lexus dealer installed my F-sport springs....told me they were in fact replacement springs. Here's a quick pic I took....this in the rear from the top of the spring down, Does yours look like this?

Based on this photo, the OP should just look to see if the 'Fsport' text is right side up.

Also as Henry stated just because your car is driving straight, your alignment can be way off. Worry most about your toe in/out. Big time tire eaters.

I noticed your part number is different also....I would think all the springs are the same but I would double check that with a Lexus dealer, maybe not the one that installed yours.

I checked 3 different lexus dealerships outside of Florida and they have the same part # as the ones I ordered. I guess they need to settle or something ? I also checked the front ones and they are installed correctly. I will check the rear sometime this week.

Thanks for the feedback

I've personally installed these with stock struts as well as Bilstein F-Sport struts. There is virtually no difference between OEM and F-Sport struts as far the fitting goes. Like others pointed out, the things that can go wrong are being installed wrong between front/rear or being upside down. The F-Sport struts have another variable which is not an issue with OEM struts, and that is the ability to install the perch that the spring seats on backwards. From my experience, the back end drops vary little compared to the front. It appears to be 1.1" front drop and like 1/2" rear. Rather dissapointing to have the rear gap still remain so huge (3 finger gaps).

Here are picture of F-Sport springs with Bilstein struts. Tire sizes are 245/35/19 (25.75") Front and 275/30/19 (25.5"). The rear gap is killer.

Now that I think about it, how are you supposed to distinguish between the rear spring and the front springs?

Picture of car stock when it was purchased:

hmm those f-sport wheels don't appeal to me for some reason... Is it just me or the stock wheels look nicer? lol

the lip on the f-sport wheels look cool though...

this makes absolutely no sense to me. i am also a Lexus tech working in the socal area and i have installed about 15 sets of these personally on the stock suspension. they are designed to be used with the stock struts or with the f-sport struts...i personally have only had one customer wanting the full f-sport spring/strut combo...i think your mechanic has it wrong
