I can't tell you what has the best ride quality but for a 1" drop, F Sport springs will do the job. I think it is approx. 12% stiffer rider than stock and it rides pretty good.

tanabe nf210 springs provide a ride that is very close to stock. double blind test, you'll be very hard pressed to say which is stock spring and which is nf210 spring (yes, the ride is that similar to each other). i have them on my GS, no complaints at all.

the nf210 springs seem great. How do they compare to the TTE Springs?

i've never tried the tte springs, so i can't say if they are better or worse than nf210.

i have the swift springs and they are great, in addition they are as per your need. the car is very close to stock and barely you notice any change, on the contrary it gave it a much sturdier ride and it takes corners much better than stock with less roll.

I'm looking into getting F Sport springs installed on my 07 GS350 AWD to eliminate that 4x4 like stance.
How will the the springs affect on stock shocks' life?
Currently, I have 17" 10 stock spoke wheels/tires on my GS, will it look better or worse with 18" stock wheels from 06/07 GS430?
Thanks.

I have the NF210's and I like a slight stiffer ride than stock, but if we did a blind test, most people should easily be able to tell the difference.

i disagree. i've asked several CL members who installed NF210s on their GS, and asked them what their opinion was on the ride (as i wanted a ride that was close to stock as possible). they all told me that the ride was very similar to stock.

yes the NF210s are slightly stiffer than stock, that i would agree with you. but you would have to be really in-tune with your car's suspension to know that. for the average person, i would say they would not know the difference. but since we're all lexus enthusiasts here, perhaps there is a higher percentage of people here who understand suspensions and know what to look out/feel for when it comes to ride differences.

I think storm forge is right. according to Tanabe the nf210 spring increases stiffness by 1-5% depending on which car you are applying it too. the F-sport springs increase stiffness by 12% and other brands do even more. A 5% increase in stiffness would be barely noticeable.

anytime you add lowering springs to stock struts/shocks it will decrease the life of the strut/shock. obviously the lower you go the quicker it will wear.

as far as the wheel gap, it will be the same. the idea when upgrading tires is to keep the same overall diameter so whether you have 17s or 18s, the wheel gap is the same.

I have the Eibach ProKit springs and am very happy with ride comfort. However, I am slightly disappointed with the ride height at the rear, I would have like it to be half inch lower.

Tanabe NF210 if you still want to retain close to stock ride. I could not really tell the difference between the OEM and the NF but definitely there was a stance difference as you can see in my pics attached. If your looking for a mild drop with a stock feel you can't go wrong with tanabe NF.

first two pics are before and second two are after NF installed.

Wheel gap be gone (lol). If your interested in a set I'll give you a great deal on mine, just pm me.

I drive a 04 GS 430 and put the Tein STech springs in and love it! I wanted a bigger drop so it sat on top of the tires. I'm running 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rears. So smooth my wife didn't notice!
