They fixed the sway issue. However I noticed the rattle issue that I took it in for is actually worse than before!

I took it back to JM Lexus and they replaced the bracket and also put new bolts on the other brackets just in case. They think it was a bolt failure.

I also managed to get one of their younger techs to go out and listen to the rattle. He heard it pretty quickly and was able to isolate it. I was pretty impressed with how he did that. Then we went back in and the service advisor said they were pretty slammed and we may want to reschedule for Monday. But the tech spoke up and said he would rather fix it right away since he heard it and knows where it is coming from. He said it would be terrible to let this drag on. I was impressed. I hope he manages to fix it.

Yeah I got the car back within 2 hours of discussing the rattle. I've since driven all around town including on the worst roads which used to trigger a non-stop recurring rattle.

And the car is silent. Solid like a rock. All you hear is the thump of the tires on the potholes and the exhaust note of the V8. I love it. When its driving like it drives today, I feel like I have a world class car. I wish it was always like this!

Today I had a quality experience at JM Lexus. This is what Lexus is about.

Did you get his name? I would send an email to the GM and Lexus Corporate so that he can be rewarded for his ethic, or at least be acknowledged for a job well done. There's not a lot of people like that anymore.
