Default F Sport Spring ???

Are F Sport Springs compatible with OE shocks or do I need to upgrade shocks to the F Sport Shocks?

Thanks,
Craig

F Sport Springs are compatible with OE shocks, so you don't need to buy F Sport Shocks.

Yep. The springs were designed to work with either the OEM shocks or the F-Sport ones. I'm riding on F-Sport springs with stock shocks.

though you dont need to upgrade the shocks, it would be advisable. I would imagine that the F-sport shocks are valved differently for the lowered ride height. They would last longer and probably give you a better ride quality. just my .02 FWIW

yes the f sport struts are designed for a lowered spring where as the oem strut is not. none the less the f sport springs are not that much of a drop so i wouldnt worry too much about running them on oem struts.

What is the total drop fron and rear on this spring? How would you rate the ride from stock?

One inch front and rear. The ride is definitely stiffer, but not ridiculous. I also installed the F-Sport sway bars and a set of Michelin PS2's all around the same time. The handling is much improved for spirited cornering without sacrificing too much ride comfort.

I read your TL thread, and it sounded like you're in CLT. I'm in the SouthPark area, so if you're nearby and want to see what the ride difference is first-hand, let me know!

That sounds awesome.... I'm in no rush to do this but I will look you up in the near future. I live in Matthews so I am within 10 miles of you. Thanks a lot! Do you have any pictures of your car on here?
