Default coiluvers vs tanabe springs

Hi I'm new and would like some advice on lowering a 06 AWD gs. I have the tanabe nf210 springs and I also have the bcr coilovers. I'm having a hard time deciding which too use. I have 22" wheels. All I want to do is get rid of the gap.. The wheels are 22x8.5 with a 245 30 tire. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

coilovers hands down. imo springs should never be an option

if you have awd, get rid of those 22s. they are way too big and about 7% over the stock diameter wheel. long use can cause drivetrain problems.

I agree, especially since you already have the BCs. Plus, once you lower your car with the NF's, you'll probably want to go lower since you are AWD. I had F-sports which are about the same as NF's and was not satisfied. I went through a set of DF's and was not happy with the ride and eventually went with coils. By far the best decision. I should have gotten them from the beginning..

And yes, sell the 22's. IMO 20's are perfect for the 3GS.

Thanks alot for your opion. Your right I bought the nf210 first then I bought the bcr coilovers but didnt know which to keep. But now I know to go with the bcr. I will swicth to 20" wheels when my budget is right. Did you take out the front fender well plastic when you lowered it?

when i had my 22s with the bcr coils i was running the same tire size up front that you are and had to do some minor work. even on slight turns i would rub the wheel liners so i had to remove both front liners. from there on hard turns it was end the frame rail end by the firewall so i had to smooth that out. then it also rubbed on the front bumper bracket where it connects to the fender. i had to trim some of that out.

22s are possible but it does take work to fit. my only concern for you would be because of the awd, it will eventually f up your system.

heres how low i was in the front

and an overall of the car

i think you mean camber. to my knowledge no one makes one for the 3gs but i believe megan does make adjustable arms for the rear to adjust the toe. i forget but i know kcook has them.

Sorry about the misspell lol. I had aliment done but the front right tire camber is a hair off. but prior to that aliment I bent both right side wheels when I hit a pot hole. Other than that the aliment is good. I asked the mech if something might be bent but he said everything looked ok. He said he put the lower control arm in as far as it can go. he suggested I buy a after market control arm cause he said they are a lil bit shorter than factory and could fix that problem. But it alined good before I hit the pot hole.
