Tein CS coilovers have 5k miles on them. Put on lowest setting. I adjusted them from 1 (firmest) to 11 (on scale of 16) and the right rear one become damaged later the same day. I'm not really sure how it happened, I went over a pothole that day, not enough to bend the wheel but shook the car up.
The day after i hit the pothole I would hear squeaking from the car. I figured it may be the bushings, i lubed them up and still nothing. Next day it starts to make a clunk sound when going over larger bumps and continues to squeak on the small dips in the road. I take everything out of the trunk and make sure nothing is wobbling around back there and after taking it a tech we narrowed it down to this. I took these pictures now which show the top part maybe 4 inches out. When I took it to a tech yesterday it was half of that distance.
Sooooo here's the suck part, do I bite the bullet and buy a complete new set, have the damaged one serviced by Tein and either keep as a spare or sell off.
Or do I go through the hassle of installing one of the OEM's, sending to service and waiting potentially 3 weeks before I can reinstall it?
Decisions decisions...

Whoa! Tein CS aren't cheap! I say why not try and do both. Put the OEM on for now and wait the 3 weeks to hear the news. In the mean time see who wants to buy 3 tein CS coilovers. If you're able to sell them, then sell them and buy a new set.

To get them serviced is going to cost you as much as a new set of something else.
May I suggest a custom set if BCR coilovers from us![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Really though, Teins cost a lot and are a b*tch to get serviced. That's why we usually recommend the BCR coilovers, cost less, same performance and a hell of a lot easier to service.
