i think your getting a little confused on suspension parts. changing the springs will have no effect on the AVS

if your just looking for a mild drop i would go with the fsport springs
well i guess the confusion is on sewell site it says it doesn't fit on cars with avs (which i put my doubts on earlier)

thats exactly where my confusion is coming from...
going to try out the fsport springs then, only problem is right now im running 245/35/20 up front and 275/30/20 in the rear... i dont want to roll out my fenders and saw another member running DF210's with 245/30/20 and 285/25/20... probably going to wait until these tires are gone, then ill do the mod!

If you want a slighty lower drop than the NF210s and the F-Sports, go with Tein S-tech Springs. Before coils i had these on my gs 300 awd. Wasn't even close to any rubbing issues. No problems at all! And as the other guys said, your AVS will be working properly.

So for looks I would say Tein S tech springs are better than NF210s or F sports. The best look before going on coils are the DF210s but you will definitely rub and the ride will be harsher. As for ride for the Tein S-techs, I would say the ride was very close to stock (except for the known AWD vibrations us AWD guys have).

what i can tell you is seeing other gs430 with springs (and avs), and the way i understand avs (which i am pretty sure), there is really no reason why the fsport springs won't apply on gs430 with avs

It will work I promise you that it will. I would check the 3gen classifieds and see if any of the members are selling the F-Sport springs and save some money and help out another member

Sorry for the newbie question, but are the struts different on a 2006 gs430 w/ AVS, than the struts on say a 2006 gs300?

In other words, could I replace struts from a lower miles gs300 & place them on a Gs430, while still retaining the AVS functions?

Sorry for the confusion.

No they are not the same and they wont have the AVS function. The GS430 is a heavier car. My suggestion is to find a set of Coils for your car even if used from the classified section.

Perfect, that's exactly what I thought. Thanks!
