Default suggestions 06 gs430

hi guys,
I have an 06 gs430 with 20" tsw snettertons, they are staggered, believe its 20x8.5 on front and 20x9.5 on rear.....I want to know which springs you'd recommend, I want to keep the AVS feature so i can change between sport and normal mode... I was told i basically just need to change the springs if i want to keep this feature

2 questions i have,

Fsport springs are not compatible with my car because I have AVS right?

also, between the DF210 and the NF210, which springs would you guys recommend?

completely incorrect. AVS has nothing to do with your suspension

it says does not apply to vehicles with AVS

changing your shocks would effect AAPS if your car had that.

look at your shift plate area (by sliding open the arm rest) and see if you have the NORM / SPORT / COMFORT switch. if so, that's avs

to be honest i don't understand what avs has to do with springs. avs is just about the shocks. i see what they stated there, but i just don't get it why (and i don't believe it)

AVS has nothing to do with springs! I installed Eibach springs and my AVS still worked fine!

okay so does anyone have a 3gs with the SPORT / NORM/COMFORT switch and have aftermarket springs installed?

If so, which ones did you go with? Im looking for not too much drop but just a little stiffer ride as this thing drives like a tank and is too bouncy

NF210, DF210, or FSPORT?????

Yes I did this on my GS and it will work. Rominl is correct that its the shocks and has nothing to do with the springs. I had DF210 springs but any spring will work with this set up! If I may suggest that you just get coils I think you will be happier with them on this car. I wish I had made this move first but I wanted to keep that avs function and it was just "ok"....

what are you trying to get at? springs have nothing to do with AVS

Are you looking for pictures as far as what the car looks like with NF210, DF210 or FSport springs?

okay maybe its just cuz theres too many ppl commenting.... i want to install springs in my car, and im looking into either getting fsports, df210 or nf210's

got that so far?

while looking into fsport springs, i was on lexus sewell, it says on there that the springs are not compatible with cars equipped with AVS http://www.lexus.com.bh/technology_e....asp?model=All

i want to know if anyone with a similar vehicle to mine (3gs RWD with AVS) has installed fsport springs on their vehicles, or will it not work

i also want to know which springs are recommended for a stiffer ride, but not too much of a drop

i think your getting a little confused on suspension parts. changing the springs will have no effect on the AVS

if your just looking for a mild drop i would go with the fsport springs
