Default BCR Coilover or F-Sport Spring for '11 GS350-AWD

Want to lower my '11 350 AWD a bit and upgarde the wheels. I've read a lot about vibration and wobble after the spring installation on AWD. Is this true for coilover as well? Is there any vibration/wobble with the F-Sport spring? I just want to lower the car a bit so what when I put 19" or 20", it doesn't look like a 4x4. I know the F-sport spring doesn't lower that much but with the BCR, I would be able to adjust. Any suggestion between the two or others I should be looking at?

The BCR kit will allows ride height adjustment because it is a fully adjustable coilover. Most guys prefer coilovers for that reason.

The vibration is random. It seems to be that if installed correctly, bushings reset and the ride height even front to rear you should be fine. But then again some guys have it and some don't.

Every car seems to be a little different.

not entirely true. it happens on almost every AWD version. its all a subjective thing so its hard to really determine. The lower the car goes, the worst it gets.

Right, which is why I said "But then again some guys have it and some don't."

It's kind of maddening because it seems random. We literally had a customer take a kit off a car that had some idle vibrations, and put it on another Is250 and it didn't vibrate at all, ever. So it's not the kit itself, it's the car/install.

Definately the car. I know people who have awd IS that don't have that issue nearly AS MUCH as our cars do.
Should've bout a RWD haha. Oh well.

go with coils either way...not worth the $$ for the full FSport set up.

So with the coilovers, does the vibration go away with the height is adjusted to the same as stock?

Also, if you put back the stock spring(and shock), does the vibration go away?

Regardless of what suspension you have, you should not have vibrations if you are stock height. However, like others said above, vibrations are subjective to the person and car. Some have it and some don't. If you don't have vibrations now and you install coilovers, if you adjust to stock height, I would say 99.9% sure you will not have vibrations.

Why not get coilovers and lower till you reach a point where you are comfortable with the amount of vibrations. That is, if you experience them..
