Default Just got my GS350 - Lowering springs for AWD model ??

Hi all,

My first post here (but have read 100s).. Great forum !!

I ordered myself a 2013 Lexus GS350 AWD F-Sport Black on Cabernet in March and received it 2 weeks ago - I absolutely love the car. Unfortunately in canada I was unable to add ML, HUD or any options to it, but am very satisfied nonetheless...

The one issue I do have is - there's too much space between the tire and the wheel well. To the point that it really bothers me. I understand its even higher on the AWD then the RWD.

Sorry if this has been asked before - but does anyone know when springs will be available that will lower the car 1 inch or more ? Nothing crazy lol.. ETA ?? Cost ?? Will they be available at all ??

Also, I had a creaking noise coming from the sunroof, so they ordered me new rails and brackets and its being changed today...

All else is A-OK !!

I was also torn between the luxury and F-Sport but ended up choosing the F for the cabernet, front end, and mags. Both are beeeeautiful though...

Thanks in advance...

WHAT!!!!! I was so looking forward for those springs to come out this summer. How hard is it to get some lowering springs fabricated for this thing? I wonder what is Lexus' reason for the hold up?

Yes they will be available for AWD,,, IDK why Lexus is stalling... I asked but was given a dumb *** answer so I left it at that. Try RS-R springs they might have something for our cars.

Would these work on a non F Sport model? Got an all-equipped 350 AWD with Sport+ and all. And would they change ride quality?

if you look at the lexus site now, the f sport springs are RWD only.

Given the fact that Lexus raised the ride height of the GS 350 AWD model, I would assume that lowering springs would not be recommended. Perhaps there are concerns over the additional stresses put on the front CV joints caused by the geometry changes.

Despite that, as soon as some decent springs come out for the 2013 GS....AWD or not, I am getting them. The AWD's look like trucks.....I already have one SUV, don't need another!

There are a couple of places online that have the Tanabe TNF170 springs available to add to cart. Whether they actually have them or not, I don't know, and haven't got a chance to call and ask. Perhaps they will have Tanabe drop ship them to you. See here.
