Im having a hard time putting my stock AWD front struts on
I am trying to put my stock suspension back on and Im having a hard time putting the front struts back on. I was on Megans and compared to the stock ones they are about an inch and a half shorter. The part I am having trouble with is getting the bottom of the stock strut onto the C bar. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help me get it the C bar low enough to bolt on the strut to it.

I have only replaced the rears, but I am sure if you spray pb blast and let it soak over night then grab a hammer and tap it off.
Does it clamp on or just bolt to the lower strut? If it clamps on you may try to stick a screw driver in the crack of the wedge and spread it apart.

So in the photo..the bottom of the strut is too long to go onto the "C" bar...I tried making room but its too long to even have enough clearance...how could I drop the C piece in order to get the bottom of the strut to stay on to bolt it..should I try dropping the lower control arm?

See the swaybar link undo that bolt, undo the lower bolt on the C bracket. Grab a long bar to pry down the a arm or push it down. If that doesnt do it you can undo the 2 19mm bolts that connect the lower hub.
When you have everything hand tight drop the car on the ground and then tighten the bolts with the suspension compressed with load.
