Ultra Racing
Purchased my 06 GS300 back in December and was looking into stiffening up the chassis with Ultra Racing Braces. I have looking around only have only found the one thread about them.
Has any one used them, and if so how did they turn out for you?
UPDATE 04/07/14
waiting on following items from Ultra Racing:
-Front upper Strut bar
-Front lower 2 piece 2 point braces
-Rear upper strut brace
-Rear lower sway bar
oh yeah...can't wait for them to arrive.

I had smiliar braces on my previous maxima and it was a canyon carver. hope these do the same for this big body GS.

I love how you said canyon carver! LOL.... No one would ever suspect the Maxima to be anything close to that. HA!
But yeah.... Very interesting they make the butterfly braces for our cars! I thought on the market there's only sway bars for our cars....
Any price point on the kit?

so far i've looked up all the parts i want and my total for stiffening up this chassis is around $1700. it will be a slow process along with Bags suspension and so on but i feel it would be worth it.

That's not too bad, Don't forget that with the bags you should invest in camber arms and etc too! Those will estimate a bit more than your chassis stiffening .
Lexus cars are EXPENSIVE lol!

IMO? The easiest route is Airrex+Accuair. That's about literally all you need. Install is all dependent, and a member on our forum has made adapters for our cars so that the e-level arms are PnP now.... PM me when you're ready to bag .
Noice! Braces look good so far, don't forget to take photos of it installed as they're being put on! I'm still curious as to see how they turn out.

received my parts yesterday and snapped a pic
i don't have a garage and they don't allow you to work on your car here so i just put on my front & rear strut bars.
front
this was an easy install. all you need is a 14mm socket. take the three bolts off from each side, place bar down and hand tighten the screws back then tighten.
Rear:
same install as front three bolts. you will need a break bar for this one as they are on their tight. you have to remove the carpet which is fairly easy as my car all i had to do was pull them back (don't know if its that easy for everyone). unscrew bolts, place bar on., hand tighten, then tighten with same 14mm.
***you will definitely either need to cut your carpet or remove in order for rear strut to sit properly***. i cut mine poorly as seen in the picture but it will stay this way until i feel like fixing it.
i'll install the rest when i visit my brothers house probably with in the next week.
to be continued...
