Default Tanabe NF210 or RS*R Downs?

I am having such a hard time between these two and after going through every post and picture available I am still confused. Every picture I see the drop looks different for each car. I need help as I know spec wise the Tanabe's are lower on an 15 F Sport but when I look at some threads it looks like some cars are lower than RSR's and some are not. Any help would or input would be awesome. Also
I don't want to go lower than these two springs dd and don't want the camber issues of the super downs. Thanks

I've looked into the same thing, and from what I can tell, Downs are the most conservative drop, followed by the NF210s, and then the Super Downs.

This is based on averages of what I've seen and the specs you mention as well. I've heard good things about both, but would probably opt for the Downs myself.

Thanks for the reply. That amount the downs drop on a F sport are only .4-.6 which is not much at all. The Tanabe are 1.1-1.2

Doing the research on this also proves to be challenging to find consistent results, as the same springs and part #'s from the two companies even seems to vary in drop reading their own specs. Check out the data I gathered from both their websites and look how Tanabe claims almost the same drop between F Sport and RWD of only a .1" difference, while RS*R shows almost a .5" difference between the drops on the two models!! Something is not right here...

See the "Down Data" for drops front and rear (F/R). You can see Tanabe states more drop in the front then the rear where RS*R shows an equal range. Also the RS*R's show a substantially higher spring rate so they should ride a bit firmer than the Tanabe's I believe. Just some other factors to consider here..

Tanabe NF210
Models Year Spring Rates F/R Down Data F/R* Part # MSRP
GS350 F-Sport RWD 13-13 3.6 / 6.5 1.1 / 1.2 TNF170 $340.00
GS350 RWD 13-13 3.6 / 6.5 1.0 / 1.1 TNF170 $340.00

RSR Down SUS
Models Year Spring Rates F/R Down Data F/R* Part # MSRP
GS350 F-Sport RWD 13+ 5.15/8.67 .4-.6 / .4-.6 T171D $279.00
GS350 RWD 13+ 5.15/8.67 1-1.2 / 1-1.2 T171D $279.00

Well look at all the pics in the forum for both springs and its so different in gap height. A few pics of the RSR downs look like super downs and the next pic with downs looks like a 4x4 lmao....Good stuff though thanks.

the swift sport springs fall in between the tanabe and rsr downs in the drop, it's 0.8" for front and rear on the f-sport. the swift sport springs are great, if you want to consider them as well.

Which springs would give me the same ride quality as stock but close up the wheel gap. I had RSR down on my IS and was happy with ride quality

Tanabe's are best for those that want the same ride.
